About Hollie
Thank you for visiting this website! We want to share information, updates, and a more intimate piece of what our daughter is experiencing. Many have been with us along the way, and this is one small way we can say Thank You!
Hollie is a lovely 18 year old young woman with Lyme Disease. She was diagnosed in 2021 after many health battles had gone unsolved for too long. She bravely endured a grueling first round of Lyme disease treatment that lasted 8 months. More treatment is needed since there is still Lyme as well as another co-infection present.
This webpage was lovingly created by Hollie’s 14 year old brother, Samuel, with some help from Dad. He wanted to help bring awareness to her need of a second round of treatment, to provide a place for updates, to give encouragement, and to raise support. Her first round of Lyme disease treatment and continuing care has a running total of about $26,000. We have challenges ahead of us but we do not do this alone!
We thank you for visiting this page, supporting Hollie through prayer, good laughs, big hugs, time, friendship, purchasing something, and/or donating to her medical fund. We have not brought her this far alone, and we do not continue to do this alone. We are so grateful.
We do have hope for Hollie! Hope for a full and beautiful future, blooming with health.
Let’s fight Lyme together!
Special Thanks
Thank you! This has been a very long journey. It still is. Hollie’s doctor keeps telling us it’s a marathon, not a race. Some moments seem much longer than others, and knowing you’ve been there has made a difference to us.
You have prayed, called, visited, and checked in. You have sent precious gifts, gone above and beyond for her health, and helped out with our sons. You’ve smiled, brought laughter, let me cry, and listened.
You’ve given encouragement and wisdom when it was difficult to see, and shared in our joyful moments. You’ve sat quietly with a puzzle and joined us for walks. You’ve helped make sure she made it to special Senior Year events with gorgeous make-up and hair, and helped her make special memories. You’ve sent beautiful flowers to lift her spirits in hard times, and made lovely flowers that will never wilt. You’ve given generously of your time, finances, resources efforts, and hearts. You’ve loved deep, hugged strong, and prayed stronger.
You’ve held us up.
We can never say thank you enough.
